Daniel's coming to China!

We got Daniel's ticket to China today :)
I found an awesome deal online and could not pass it up.
He will be here the entire month of March...I can not wait!

My first snow in Beijing!

The weather this year has been acting quite strange. Beijing normally receives about the same amount of snow as NYC, but this year we have seen a single flake...until Spring? Weird.
But its nice. I get to enjoy the snow for a few days, and nothing closes down because of it :)

Chinese New Year 2011

Today is the second day of Chinese New Year. Lunar New Years starts on Feb. 3rd and last for 15 days.

Today I am spending it completely chilling out.
I have been doing nothing but eating, watching movies, eating, and eating some more.

On New Years Eve Jillis, Nevo and I made our way out to Ditan Park for their annual Temple festival.

After, we met Lorenzo for dinner

I played hostess on New Years Day :)

This is a crazy "everything pizza" from Pizza Hut
Paolo, Crystal, Jillis and Nevo came over and we pigged out, watched movies
and spent most of the night in the massage room and sauna :)

A few days later we went to Qianamen and Houhai

And of course you can't have Chinese New Year without the fireworks!
